Where
can I read your 99.9% network Uptime Guarantee? |
WebserverGIANT puts its Guarantee in writing. You can

How
can you offer so much bandwidth with your plans? |
WebserverGIANT commits to a large volume of bandwidth.
The larger the volume, the lower the cost. WebserverGIANT
does not oversubscribe it's network to cut cost either.

Does
WebserverGIANT monitor my server? |
Absolutely! As part of our dedicated service, WebserverGIANT
will monitor one service of your choice. We will e-mail
or page you if your service is down. Linux servers will
also have our proprietary software installed called
"24/7 Sysadmin". This software will monitor
system functions to ensure they are running. If they
are not, our software will restart the services. 24/7
Sysadmin will also manage run away processes and other
issues that can cause your server to run out of resources.

How
do I add additional IPs and is there an upgrade
fee? |
Additional IPs can be added at any time by submitting
a request, which should be accompanied by a justification
for requirement of additional IPs. IP addresses are
charged at the rate of $1.00/month/IP Address. There
is no set-up fee.

Can
my hardware be upgraded? What are the fees for
this? |
You can upgrade the RAM and Hard Drives of your server
at any time to increase your resources. Upgrade fees
will depend on the scope of the upgrade. Most RAM and
hard drive upgrades will carry a small set-up fee and
an increase in your monthly server rate.

Is
there an uptime guarantee on my server's hardware? |
While we do not have an uptime guarantee on servers
hardware components, WebserverGIANT is responsible for
all hardware replacement. Should any component ever
fail, it will be replaced free of charge - in a timely
manner.

Do
you allow hosting of adult sites on your servers? |
Yes, you may host adult content on our servers. However,
we do not allow Spam or unsolicited email in any form.
We also forbid child pornography and any other illegal
activities on our network. We will strictly enforce
this policy as soon as it such activity comes to our
attention. For more information, please review our Terms.

Does
WebserverGIANT provide DNS service? Can I have
my own DNS name servers configured? |
We recommend that you use our nameservers so you can
avoid the work of configuring and maintaining your DNS.Fully
managed DNS is included with every server complete with
your own controlpanel to manage all zones, from one,
central location. Anyone investigating your domain through
DNS or WHOIS will only see our completely anonymous
name servers; ns1 and ns2.hostdns4u.com
If you preferto have the advanced option of running
your DNS on our name servers, WebserverGIANT offers
branded DNS for $20.00/mo and a $20.00 Set-up Fee.
You will have two name servers of your choice complete
with your own control panel and customer templates
to manage all your zones. You can also choose to host
your DNS on your dedicated server if you are comfortable
doing so.To host your own DN on your own server, you
need a minimum of two IP addresses--one each for ns1.yourdomain.com
and ns2.yourdomain.com. If you host your own DNS,
you will be expected to perform all DNS functions
and configurations yourself.
